Prof. Dr. Sergi DOSTA
Professor of the Department of Materials Science and Physical Chemistry at Universitat de Barcelona since 2010, he has a long teaching and research career. He has published more than 150 papers in high-level and internationally prestigious journals in the field and with an h-index of 37 according to the SCOPUS database, with more than 4150 citations. He is also the President of the ETSA (European Thermal Spray Association) since June 2022. His main research experience is focused on surface engineering, and specifically on the thermal spray field, collaborating with national and international research centres and companies. He has also participated in scientific committees of numerous prestigious conferences in his research area, such as the ITSC, SMT, RIPT, among others.
