Tanıl Atıcı was born in Ankara in 1983. He was graduated from Middle East Technical University Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Department as BSc in 2006. In 2009, he was graduated from Welding Engineering course given by Middle East Technical University Welding Technologies Center. Since 2007, he is working as a welding engineer in Cimtas Steel company. He holds CWI (certified welding inspector) certificate of AWS (American Welding society). He is the director of Cimtas Steel Research & Development Center.
